So often when we are trying to learn something new or Implement change, routine is necessary. For example, trying to incorporate exercise, change of diet or even writing a book can require maintaining a strict routine. Over time routine can actually hamper creativity. Sometimes it is helpful to mix up the routine and try something different. This week look at what you do on a routine basis. Does it still inspire you? Or are you on autopilot? Try mixing up your day. If you drive the same route to work then go a different way. If you always cook the same meal on certain days of the week, change that around. If you follow a rigid exercise routine mix it up. See if change refreshes you and brings you more inspiration. Record the results in your journal.
